Dear Friends,

I thank you all for electing me the President of ISHTM 2009-10. I am indeed honored and privileged to take over this important position of ISHTM. During my tenure here, my endeavor will be to reiterate the work, achievements of the previous presidents and also further streamline the functioning of ISHTM to the best of my capacity. Under the able secretaryship of Dr. HP Pati, I would like to support the various CMEs for increasing awareness and training of hematology in various parts of India. At the end of this tenure, I hope that the issues of ISHTM and IJHBT would have been sorted out. I look forward to support from all of you to achieve this.
